Manager Arsène Wenger once again has expressed its displeasure by international football, saying that the way the structure makes it difficult for the world's top players to compete against each other.
The Frenchman said: "I'm not a big fan of international football as it destroyed. Take Russia - once it was a country, is now 21.
"Yugoslavia was one and now is six. Then you add to countries such as Andorra, Faroe Islands and San Marino and suddenly three out of four games are not of interest.
"Ryan Giggs never played in a World Cup. If Maradona was born in Luxembourg who have never played in a World Cup - but, however, would have been the best player in the world.
"In the football club arrive at putting the best players in the world together - which is justice."
