The striker Theo Walcott says he is ready to deliver for his country, putting himself within range of manager Fabio Capello for the World Cup qualifying game against Croatia.
Walcott was selected for Sven-Goran Eriksson at the World Cup 2006 but did not make an appearance in the tournament.
The 19-year-old Arsenal striker said he was now ready to become an England regular.
He said: "I am training well and when you are training and flows of confidence and that was the instinct for truth.
"I feel very well. Buzz am at the moment. Flight. I am waiting for him. I can not wait for Wednesday.
"I've had a lot of experience at senior official level and that there was no chance to play. This time the boss gave me the opportunity and is bright.
"When you release the bank that I played a lot in the wing for having a scope in that position.
"I got battered but I always battered. I'm used to it now and do not bother me at all. I want to continue performing well now."
